Mahli Thai

Loved our meal here. The service was fast and friendly. We both ordered Pad Thai which was exceptional. The coconut breading pudding was outstanding - we didn't have room for it but took leftovers home it was so good.

The wait was a little slow but the food was so damn worth it. Everyone working there was very polite. Absolutely worth every penny.

Was closed without notice online. Drove there to find it was closed until further notice. Was disappointed.

Good food and fast service. Everything is cooked to order.

Never open, even when they say they are open

I love Mahli Thai! Their food is always delicious, and they're very accommodating when I want to customize my meal a bit. I've never had a long wait time and the restaurant is always clean. They're great for to-go orders, too.

Easily the best Thai food ij the whole region. Tried their spicy basil fried rice and it was awesome.. All my taste buds that yearning for spicy food must have been happy. The food and ingredients are fresh. All rice lovers are in for treat here. Wish they werr open every day did dinners too!!

First time trying Thai food and it was excellent. Restaurant was extremely clean and staff was friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in Chippewa Falls. Everything we tried was delicious- they have great soup, spring rolls and curries. We came to buy a Volvo and we left thinking about coming back for Thai food again.

Restaurant is very clean and food is delicious. You can order the amount of spice you want. Workers were very kind and helpful. Yesterday was my first time here, I will definitely be back

Absolutely delicious! My wife and I stopped in this afternoon. I was nervous since it indicates Take Out/Carry Out, but they have some tables inside and outside, so it was perfect. It was possible the best Pad Thai I've ever had and the egg rolls were amazing!

Food was great but not staffed well. 2 girls to do everything. I love having a restaurant like this in our town! We will be back. When you go, don't be in a rush, it's not that kind of place.😋

Stopped by here for lunch since they're currently only open from 11AM - 2PM, but was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavorful pad Thai and pad see ew was. Would recommend trying either, but I enjoyed flavor of the pad see ew more!

Even though they have limited hours the food is very good and they do a great job ensuring you get everything you ordered on big takeout orders. Just be patient, it's worth a little wait. Best crab rangoon in the Chippewa Valley for sure.

Best real chinease food ever

I adore this place! They have decent meals, they have a rich menu, The cook in that place is a real pro, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is very good too. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

The spring rolls were average and the price was definitely gormet. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. Parking is a challenge.

I loved the orange chicken and rice plate. The rice was perfectly cooked, the orange chicken was seasoned just right and loved the soy sauce. I also liked the little things like our pop wasn't totally filled with ice only a quarter which shows they aren't trying to cut corners. I would recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it before. You won't regret it!

GREAT food with fresh flavor!! Bonus for me, they have a wide variety of gluten free options. It's a small, very clean place to dine, so it's better to get their earlier on Friday and Saturdays.

They transitioned to Carry Out Only and there is no place to sit down in a pretty large space. Makes no sense.

Mali Thai is one of my favorite Asian restaurants to eat at in Chippewa Falls. It's a little more pricey than your average Asian restaurant, but well worth it. In short more chicken than breading. Their Sweet and Sour Chicken is fantastic and comes with whole chunks of pineapple. As a side I recommend their Crab Rangoon with peanut dipping sauce. If you like sweet drinks their Thai Sweet Tea will quench that sweet tooth. Enjoy!

Service was painfully slow for both us and the table that came in after us. No one told our server we had been seated and it took 12 minutes before we were able wave someone down to get something to drink. The table next to us went through the same thing. We ended up waving a server down for them as well. Once the food came We were left with no drink refills unless we hunted someone down and even then only my water was refilled. All of this could have been overlooked if the food had exploded with flavor but we both found it to just be ok. When eating Thai food you would expect that the hot spicy food would be just that HOT!. However I who can't handle any spicy heat was able to comfortably sample my husbands dish. That may be a good or bad thing depending on your view. But over all we simply just weren't wowed.

They have recently remodeled and gone from a dine in to more of a take out Thai food place. There is still a small amount of seating left. The food is excellent with very good portions. I’m very glad they are located in Chippewa Falls.

Dishes are well constructed with good flavor. Service was good. Dinning room was a bit crowded but not noisy.

This was my 4th time eating here in the last few years, and the food this time was "okay". I got the fried rice and it lacked flavor. My friend got the pad thai which had veggies that should not be in pad thai(cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans). I hope this was just a bad night as it has been good in the past.

Wow, really nice. Very clean nice decor. Staff friendly and efficient. Calls for carry-out very clear. Ready times given for pickup. Small but clean and pleasant dining area. Great food. This is a very good experience! Highly recommended.

A delightfully surprising find in a small town like Chippewa Falls. The food is fantastic, but the hours can be unpredictable as they often struggle to find good help.

Egg rolls where great veggie and chicken

I went in there and ordered on the spot and got my food in a very timely manner. The quality of the food that I ordered, in my opinion was poor and the sauce is what really killed my entire meal.

My husband and I discovered Mahli Thai Restaurant just under a year ago. I had been shopping and walked past the restaurant and learned that they didn't do lunch, only supper, so he and I went there for supper one evening. We fell in love with the food. There are so many flavors: herbs, spices, and zests. My husband was pleasantly surprised to see good portions. He loves the spring rolls! The prices are competitive, and the food is so fresh. The atmosphere is cozy, open, well decorated and clean. For this restaurant I give a No. 1 rating.

Unfortunately, I've had to edit my review here since my last visit with their recent remodel. Their new model focuses on take-out instead of their previous dine-in model, which is fine with me since I prefer take-out anyway, but the quality of their food seems to have suffered. A few years ago I had their green curry and I remembered it being the best Thai green curry I've ever had, but I recently ordered the same thing and I was so disappointed. The portion size was very small for how much it costs especially considering that it didn't have many veggies and was really just the curry sauce, some chicken, and a few bamboo shoots. It wasn't a substantial meal and it definitely left something to be desired.

Had to wait forever to be seated, then once we were seated we froze because we were by the window and something was wrong with the vent. I had to get up and ask for menus, later on I had to get up and ask for menus for the couple that was sat next to us as well. I eventually had to ask to put out order in, and I had to get up and ask for our drinks to be refilled. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, if everyone was new, or what was going on but it was a disaster. I was hoping that the food was going to be the saving grace - but nope. It was bland, and even though my husband and I ordered completely different dishes we couldn't tell much difference between the two of them. I'm really hoping we went on an off night. But even so, I doubt we will go back.

Please go back to dinner service! Best Thai food in Chippewa Valley.

I can't express how amazing it is to have a place like Mahli in our community... hands down the best pad thai I have ever had. The sticky rice with mango is an absolute must when it's available! Don't even get me started with the owner, she is an absolute sweetheart and would move mountains for her customers! If you question whether or not to try out this beautiful Thai takeout, JUST DO IT. Your taste buds will thank you.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Mahli Thai. We enjoyed two orders of Orange Chicken, the Mushroom Basil Stir Fry, and Pineapple Curry. Each was excellent. Perfect portion size and appealing presentation. I also enjoyed the Thai Ice Tea.Wait time was only about 15 minutes from order to food. Great when you're hungry and with kids!I would most definitely return to Mahli Thai - Best of the Chippewa Valley
